Solid boba place. I got the lychee yogurt smoothie with regular sugar and it was good. It was also really sweet so I think next time I can get 50% sugar and it’ll still taste good. The inside of the restaurant is white and bright. It feels very clean, modern, and fresh. The service is good. This place seems quite popular since there were a few people in the shop already when we arrived (Sunday night), but it didn’t take long for us to order and I didn’t feel like we waited too long for our drinks either.

I live in the building and I like the hot milk teas the best. They are all really good. Even ube taro smoothies are really good. The one pictured here is my favorite.

Good overall, as expected, but the air inside felt stuffy. Owners—could you consider improving the ventilation system or opening the door more frequently to let in fresh air? The indoor air quality needs improvement. Intention to revisit: yes Vibe: good Cleanliness: yes Service: pass Food: pass

I’ve been trying to find a shop that has purple rice yogurt (or similar varieties). I’m glad I tried out The Alley today. Their yogurt drink was so good! They had options for just purple rice yogurt, and purple rice yogurt with mango (there were also other yogurt items on their menu - such as lychee yogurt, strawberry yogurt). I opted to get the purple rice yogurt with mango, and it was perfect. It was creamy, nicely blended, and the flavors of purple rice/mango were good. I read some other reviews beforehand that the drinks are sweet, so I got “less sugar” (with I think is the equivalent to 75%), and it was perfect to me. I wish there was a location closer to me, but I’ll make the drive here in the weekends for the purple rice!

Very yummy! Cute lil shop in international district. Easy ordering as they have a regular register and then a self-order kiosk. I had their brown sugar drink and the cashier was extremely nice when I poked my straw through the plastic. Very affordable price point.

When it comes to bubble tea, there’s the hugely anticipated The Alley, which just launched in Seattle, and everyone else. This place is awesome. I went to both soft and grand openings! Despite a massive demand and large (and noticeably excited) crowd, i was surprised at how smoothly everything went… and more importantly how delicious this tea really is!! Prices are very competitive, the staff was smiling, and everyone in my group loved our drinks!! The freshly prepared tapioca has a hige and positive taste difference! You can taste the quality here!!! PS- beware of the haters in reviews. Very likely the competition just trying to attack a new business which is sad. There’s absolutely no way this place gets 1 star. Just watch, in a month or two the insignificant negatives will be 100% outweighed by the truth and positive reviews! Support your local business and try this place out!!! You will not be disappointed.

The Alley is a new great boba place. Went here for dessert after eating at an also new chinese restaurant close by. The place is clean, cute, cool, nice and bright. Friendly staffs to take your order. Wait time is not long since it wasn't busy when we went there. Good place to chat and hang out. I ordered the Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca Crème Brulee Milk. It was a great choice I made. Boba had right sweetness, softness and chewiness. Creme Br ulee was so good. Ube and brown sugar combination was perfect. I kept on saying yummy after every sip. I asked the people I am with about their boba orders and they said it is delicious too. They ordered lychee yougurt smoothie, original purple rice yogurt smoothie, brown sugar deerioca milk and another of what I have. Left the place sipping our boba and a yummy goodness smile on our faces.
